Philosophy of measurement
What we count, and why
Impact claims in education are easy to make and hard to substantiate. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Leading indicators over lagging ones
We track whether practice actually changed — follow-through on support actions, two-way family contact, coherence of instructional routines — before we claim outcome movement.
Experience alongside achievement
Belonging, trust, and access are measured directly, not inferred from test results.
Durability after we leave
We define a successful partnership as one where the system still runs a year after our involvement ends.
Published honesty
We commit to reporting what did not work. Null results are part of the evidence base we owe the field.

Planned pilots and partnership models
What is currently in design and underway. As engagements conclude and evidence accumulates, this page will grow into an annual impact report.
FAM+PACT pilot design
The model is being prepared for pilot use across elementary and secondary settings. Support follow-through rates and family contact reciprocity are the first indicators we intend to track.
District coherence engagements
F.O.C.U.S.™ Method engagements are designed to reduce the number of active district priorities and rebuild the review cadence around a small set of measures. Results will be reported as engagements conclude.
Multilingual learner program review
Our program review approach examines whether placement decisions are supported by language-growth evidence, and what guidance would need to change if they are not.
What comes next
Toward an annual impact report
Each year we will publish partnership results, research outputs, resource reach, and the questions we got wrong.
