Frameworks & methodologies

Original intellectual property, documented in the open

Each framework names a specific problem, the people it serves, the principles that govern it, and how it has been applied in real schools and systems.

H.O.U.S.E.™ Framework

Purpose

Give school teams a structural way to examine belonging, communication, and instructional coherence as one system rather than separate initiatives.

Problem addressed

Schools improve one component at a time and are surprised when gains do not hold; the structure around the change was never addressed.

Real-world applications

Used in school improvement planning, accreditation preparation, and leadership team retreats across partner schools.

F.O.C.U.S.™ Method

Purpose

Help leaders reduce initiative load and sequence improvement work against real implementation capacity.

Problem addressed

Districts adopt more priorities than any school can absorb, producing surface compliance instead of practice change.

Real-world applications

Applied in multi-year strategic planning and mid-cycle course corrections with district partners.

Family Engagement Framework

Purpose

Treat family partnership as infrastructure with standards, owners, and measures rather than an events calendar.

Problem addressed

Engagement is measured by attendance at events rather than by whether families have real influence and timely information.

Real-world applications

Foundational to FAM+PACT and to family engagement audits conducted with partner districts.

Multilingual Learner Framework

Purpose

Move multilingual learner programs from compliance orientation to asset-based system design.

Problem addressed

Program models built for regulatory reporting rarely produce language growth or academic access.

Real-world applications

Used in program reviews, teacher professional learning, and district policy revision.

Systems Change Methodology

Purpose

Provide a disciplined arc — understand, design, implement, evaluate — for change that outlasts the people who started it.

Problem addressed

Change efforts depend on individual champions and dissolve when those people move on.

Real-world applications

The operating method behind every Equity By Design consulting engagement.

Frameworks currently being written and field tested

New frameworks are documented in the open once partner schools have tested them in real conditions.

H.O.U.S.E.™ engagement

How a HOUSE engagement begins

Every partnership starts with a discovery conversation. Registration, pre- and post-session surveys, and leadership follow-up are handled with your team once the engagement is booked.

  1. Step 01

    Discovery

Share goals, context, and readiness so we can scope the right engagement.

  2. Step 02

    Design & delivery

We build the session for your building, then facilitate it on site or virtually.

  3. Step 03

    Follow-through

Participant and leadership follow-up materials are provided directly to your confirmed team.
